Welcome to EbertWorld
This website is the portal to all things Ebert. Of course for the most part I'm talking
about the San Diego Eberts. More specifically the Rancho Bernardo Eberts. This site has
been around since at least 1995 in one form or another. It's gone through numerous overhauls.
I have at various times completely ignored this site and alternately completely obsessed over it
to the dismay of my family. Lately I've been in Obsess mode (11/2008). Primarily because of the birth of
my second child, Madison Marie. I think I did something similar when my son, Samuel, was born.
Whatev... I'm not sure I really have goals for this site any more other than it is my personal
piece of the internet. Here you will find thousands of pictures of me and my family. A lot of my
writing will be found here and a lot of information on my various hobbies. If you have comments,
complaints, or just would like to say hi, Please do.

A little more information about me
Music: I'm kinda big into music. I like lots of stuff but mostly newer indie type stuff. But I also
like just plain rock. Some of my favorite bands: Modest Mouse, Interpol, Built to spill, Youth Group, Sonic Youth, Pixies, Radiohead,
Shins, Massive Attack, Head Automatica, Galaxie 500, The Police, The Who, U2, REM, Jack Johnson, Art of Noise, Luna, Dios, Grandaddy,
Eels, Feelies, The Walkmen, Matisyahu, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Tenacious D, Yo La Tengo, Sabado, Ugly Casanova, Pinback... Okay I
could go on and on...
Backpacking/Mountaineering: I'm kinda big into the outdoors. I've summited Mt. Silliman, Half Dome, Mt. Whitney, Mt. Rainier,
and attempted Cotopaxi and Cayambe in Ecuador. I've also day hiked many of the mountains in Southern California
I've also backpacked all over the Sierras, Yellowstone and the Grand Canyon. Check out the backpacking section for way more information
than you probably want and hundreds of pictures.
I also do custom web applications. If you need the internet to do cool things for you then visit my company website:
Sterling Information Technology.
Or drop me an email: Email Sterling IT
Okay, that's about all the narcissism I can handle for today... ;) Ray
